Celebrity disc jockey DJ AM (Adam Goldstein) and former Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker are reuniting for the first time since surviving a Learjet crash on September 19.   The Associated Press reports that Barker and DJ AM will headline New Year’s Nation’s Los Angeles New Year’s Eve Party in West Hollywood, CA. This is the first time the two will appear together since they performed in South Carolina hours before boarding the plane that crashed and killed four people.

President-elect Barack Obama has unveiled his national security team and named New York Senator Hillary Clinton the new Secretary of State. Barack called Hillary a "dear friend" and said he would be proud to have her serve as Secretary of State. Hillary was a close runner up to Obama as the Presidential nominee for the democratic party this year. Former President Bill Clinton released statement regarding his wife's new role. "As an American, I am thankful that President-elect Barack Obama has asked Hillary to be Secretary of State and that she has accepted. As her husband, I am deeply proud." He continues, "She has already earned the respect of foreign leaders and diplomats through her work to promote human rights and the empowerment of women through access to education, healthcare and economic opportunity." "Leaving the Senate is very difficult [for] me," Hillary says. "Mr. President-elect, I am proud to join you."

"The Insider" confirms that Robert Downey Jr. suffered an injury while filming 'Sherlock Holmes' on location in Britain. A rep tells "The Insider" that Downey Jr. is doing fine and "all is well" after the incident in which the actor suffered a "minor injury." Guy Ritchie is directing the highly anticipated blockbuster, scheduled for release in November 2009, in which Downey Jr. plays the famed detective, with Rachel McAdams as his love interest.
