The Black Eyed Peas got their "Boom Boom Pow" on during a stop of their E.N.D. World Tour at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas on Tuesday night. The group "gotta feelin'" that 2010 will be a good year as they jam again from Sin City during "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2010." Bandmember Fergie will serve as a co-host of the December 31 broadcast on ABC.

Following much controversy after his racy "American Music Awards" performance, Adam Lambert is ready to take center stage during primetime.  The "American Idol" runner-up is heading back to the network that made him famous for the season finale of "So You Think You Can Dance." Adam will perform his new single, "Whataya Want From Me," during the "SYTYCD" finale Wednesday, Dec. 16 on FOX. It was recently announced that the controversial singer will appear on "The View" this Thursday, Dec. 10. His performance will follow his segment "Barbara Walters Presents: The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2009," airing Wednesday, Dec. 9. Both of these appearances come after ABC canceled previously scheduled appearances on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" and "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve."

ABC tonight confirmed to GLAAD that openly gay singer Adam Lambert will appear on "The View" on Thursday, Dec. 10. Lambert's performance on "The View" will follow his segment "Barbara Walters Presents: The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2009," airing Wednesday, Dec. 9 at 10 p.m. Both of these appearances come after the network canceled previously scheduled appearances on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" and "Dick Clark's New Year’s Rockin’ Eve." "ABC has taken a step towards fairness by inviting Adam Lambert to perform on 'The View,'" said Jarrett Barrios, President of the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD). "GLAAD has been advocating against the double standards that have been applied to Lambert as an openly gay performer. We thank community members and allies for voicing their concerns with ABC so that entertainers like Adam have the opportunity to be broadcast into living rooms across America."

The New York Police Department may be calling for backup at the New Year's Eve performance by Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas. The Jonas Brothers are performing in Times Square for "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest" and the NYPD says it could result in a "mob scene." "So they're now planning on using extra [security] men for support," a source tells People magazine. "It's going to be crazy because everyone will be in Times Square to watch them perform on the show." Police officials expressed their apprehension over the performance in a recent meeting with the producers of the show.

Another big name from the world of music is set to perform on "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest." Will.i.am will help ring in 2009 by singing "It's A New Day," says the Associated Press. The Black Eyed Peas singer says his song was inspired by Barack Obama's groundbreaking presidential-election win. Joining Will.i.am on Clark and Seacrest's TV special are the Jonas Brothers, Taylor Swift and Lionel Richie.

Talk-show host Ryan Seacrest will co-host the celebration, and country music artist Kellie Pickler will act as a correspondent, the Associated Press reports. Fergie will host a Hollywood portion of the program which includes performances by Natasha Bedingfield, Fall Out Boy, Ne-Yo, and Pussycat Dolls.
