Father of John Linson
He stepped in to direct The Wild Life when the original director dropped out and Universal told him to find someone else quick or the film would not proceed.
In 2005, he announced that he wrote a screenplay based on his second book "What Just Happened? Bitter Hollywood Tales From the Front Line" and intends to produce it. Actor Robert De Niro and director Barry Levinson are attached to the project.
