Zooey Deschanel is taking ballet classes to slim down before her wedding. The "(500) Days of Summer" actress, who is engaged to Death Cab For Cutie frontman Ben Gibbard, is determined to look her best when she ties the knot and has embarked on a new exercise regime.

A source told the New York Post newspaper: "Zooey has been taking classes at Pure Barre in Los Angeles to prepare for the wedding. She has been doing workouts which are based on ballet barre work back to back."
