"The Insider"'s Samantha Harris took her "Sam Cam" backstage to get all the dish from the finalists! "I didn't blow my knee so I'm very happy with this," Gilles says. "The experience is worth the surgery. Being with Cheryl [Burke] is worth the pain." Shawn Johnson tells "The Insider" that she would love to be the next Olympian to win "Dancing with the Stars," but she is already proud of her accomplishments this season. Kanye West has entered a plea related to a 2008 incident at Los Angeles International Airport, after which he was detained due to an alleged altercation with photographers in the airport terminal. According to the Associated Press, West, 31, pleaded not guilty to misdemeanor charges through his attorney last Friday. In March, prosecutors charged West with one count each of: vandalism, grand theft and misdemeanor battery. An attorney for West declined to about the plea, says the AP.

With the dramatic "American Idol" decision just days away, a new poll reveals that viewers would abandon the show in droves if sharp-tongued judge Simon Cowell was no longer there. In a new poll conducted by AOL Television, nearly half of "Idol" viewers said they would no longer watch if Simon left the show. While Cowell has said he has contemplated leaving the show when his contract is up, he has also said he is "keeping the door open" to return. Those who participated in the poll also revealed that they think the current season's finalists were the "hottest contestants" in the show's history. "Idol" favorite Adam Lambert's performance of the Tears for Fears classic "Mad World" was voted best performance of the season, while Megan Joy's attempt at the Bob Marley song "Turn the Lights Down Low" received the dubious honor of worst performance this season. Viewers participating in the poll chose Chris Daughtry as their favorite non-winning "Idol," beating out Jennifer Hudson and David Archuleta. In addition, 59 percent said they would vote for a gay contestant to win the show.

Mok released the following statement to "The Insider" about the headline-grabbing news: "The current state of the economy has forced shows to make major budget cuts industry wide; and 'America's Next Top Model' is not immune to these financially challenging times. We've had to make significant cuts in every area of the production and, unfortunately, Paulina was a casualty of these cuts. Tyra [Banks], who pursued Paulina to join the show as a judge multiple times, was incredibly saddened by the decision the show was forced to make.
