American actor MONTE HALE has died. He was 89.The star lost his battle with ill health at his Los Angeles home on Sunday (29Mar09), according to family members.Hale shot to fame in a string of westerns films in the 1940s, including Home on the Range in 1946, and starred alongside James Dean in 1956 movie
