Rihanna is to star in a remake of "The Bodyguard." The 21-year-old pop star - whose boyfriend Chris Brown has been charged with felony assault and making criminal threats following his alleged assault on her - has reportedly been looking at various scripts in New York, including a remake of the hit 90s film which starred Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner

A source told the New York Daily News newspaper: "Before the situation with Chris, Rihanna was getting a lot of scripts. She has been wanting to do movies for a while now."
