Ashlee Simpson-Wentz is making her return to TV -- read on to find out which small screen series just made her a leading lady! Ashlee has joined the cast of the CW's remake of the popular 90's series "Melrose Place", The Hollywood Reporter writes. According to THR, the singer/actress will play Violet, a small town girl who moves to Los Angeles and brings a secret along with her. Ashlee will also star alongside her rocker husband Pete Wentz, on the March 18 episode of "CSI: NY". Simpson-Wentz started off her acting career with a role on the WB drama "7th Heaven".
