Michael Jackson Was "severely Emaciated" When He Died
Mon, 29 Jun 2009 19:00:57 | Rate news: +0
The pop legend weighed just 51kg when he passed away last week after suffering a suspected cardiac arrest at his Los Angeles home.Leaked autopsy details reportedly show the singer was a virtual skeleton , whose stomach was empty except for partially-dissolved prescription pills. It is understood he ate just one tiny meal a day.His hips, thighs and shoulders were covered in needle marks, believed to be the result of narcotic painkillers the singer took three times a day. There were also four injection sites near his heart - evidence of a failed bid to pump adrenaline directly into the organ in an attempt to restart it.Medical examiners were also believed to be shocked by the surgery scars, which suggest Michael had at least 13 cosmetic procedures. The bridge of his nose had vanished and its right side had collapsed. He was reportedly wearing a wig at the time of his death. Underneath it, he was almost bald, with only peach fuzz covering his scalp. He had several broken ribs and extensive bruising to his chest consistent with someone trying to revive him.The singer also had unexplained bruises on his knees and the front of both shins and cuts and grazes on his back.A source said: Michael's family and fans will be horrified when they realise the appalling state he was in. He was skin and bone, his hair had fallen out and had been eating nothing but pills when he died. Injection marks all over his body and the disfigurement caused by years of plastic surgery show he'd been in terminal decline for years. A second autopsy was carried out on Saturday (27.06.09) after the Jackson family was dissatisfied by the first one, which ruled out foul play but could not determine a cause of death.Michael's funeral will reportedly be held on Wednesday (01.07.09).His brother Tito said the family spent the weekend organising the send-off.They have yet to decide whether it will be a public or private funeral.

Michael Jackson's Former Home Could Be Turned Into A Shrine To The Late Star
Mon, 29 Jun 2009 19:00:12 | Rate news: +0
The 'Thriller' singer - who died of a suspected cardiac arrest on Thursday (25.06.09) - reportedly told friends he wanted to be buried at the Neverland ranch so fans would always be able to pay their respects to him.If Michael's wish is granted, it is thought Neverland - which the father-of-three was forced to sell in 2005 after facing financial ruin following his child molestation court case - could become one of the biggest tourist destinations in the world, eclipsing Graceland, the Memphis home where Elvis Presley is buried.A source said: Michael wanted Neverland to be his final resting place but wasn't sure the authorities would give permission. It would give fans a place to focus on and a place to visit. Neverland would become a place of pilgrimage. It would also leave his heirs a legacy which could be worth billions. Even if Michael's family decide not to bury the 50-year-old star there, they could turn Neverland into a tourist centre so fans can still visit.Mark Sutherland, Global Editor of Billboard Magazine, said: If they develop Neverland as a tourist centre that will open up a whole other world of revenue. The licensing possibilities are enormous. Meanwhile, Michael's former best friend, chimpanzee Bubbles, is set to be the subject of a new movie. The 26-year-old animal lived with Michael from 1985 to 1997 and his owner Bob Dunn claims a big-money deal is on the table .Bob said: There's a lot of interest. Bubbles has led an interesting life. There's lots to say. Michael moved Bubbles - who used to be dressed in matching outfits to his owner - to an animal sanctuary after he became too aggressive.

Debbie Rowe Has Claimed Michael Jackson Wasn't The Biological Father Of Their Two Children
Mon, 29 Jun 2009 18:59:29 | Rate news: +0
The former nurse - who was married to the 'Thriller' singer from 1996 to 1999 - has alleged Prince Michael, 12, and 11-year-old Paris were conceived through artificial insemination using sperm from an anonymous donor.Speaking about her relationship with Michael - who died last Thursday (25.06.09) after a suspected cardiac arrest - she told journalist Rebecca White: Michael was divorced, lonely and wanted children. I was the one who said to him, 'I will have your babies.' I offered him my womb - it was a gift. It was something I did to keep him happy. I was just the vessel. It wasn't Michael's sperm. I got paid for it, and I've moved on. I know I will never see my children again. I was never a good mother, I never felt any attachment to them. It was a better feeling giving them to him than it was keeping them as my own. Debbie says Michael split from her soon after the painful birth of Paris, which left her unable to have any more children. The 50-year-old blonde - who claims she didn't have sex with Michael throughout their relationship - added: He wanted to pretend that we were a family. But we never lived together as a couple. We never had sex. He was on the road, doing his thing. The delivery was so hard. My insides were all torn up and I was barren. When he knew I couldn't have any more babies he didn't want anything to do with me. Michael got full custody of the children after he reportedly paid Debbie £4.2 million over nine years and gave her a home in Beverly Hills.Debbie is now set to cash in on her relationship with Michael after reportedly agreeing a deal to write a tell-all book.As well Prince Michael and Paris, Michael went on to have a third child, seven-year-old Prince Michael II, also known as Blanket, but the identity of his mother remains unknown.

Michael Jackson's Doctor Has Denied Administering A Painkiller Which Is Believed To Have Led To His
Mon, 29 Jun 2009 18:58:43 | Rate news: +0
Dr. Conrad Murray - the pop legend's personal cardiologist - says he didn't give the singer an injection of the powerful painkiller Demerol, which reportedly triggered his suspected cardiac arrest last week.Dr. Murray's lawyer Edward Chernoff insists the physician never prescribed nor administered Demerol - one of the cocktail of prescription drugs reportedly found in the star's body after his death - to Jackson.Chernoff said: There was no Demerol. Not ever. He just happened to find him in his bed and he wasn't breathing. Mr. Jackson was still warm and had a pulse. It is thought 50-year-old Jackson went into cardiac arrest and his heart stopped beating around an hour after being given a shot of Demerol. It was claimed yesterday (28.06.09) that in an attempt to revive the singer, Dr. Murray later gave him a shot of adrenalin straight into his chest and performed CPR.Leaked information from the initial autopsy on Jackson reportedly shows he was jabbed in the heart four times, thought to be the attempts to get adrenalin to his heart. He also had several broken ribs from the CPR.Jackson's family are said to be desperate to speak with Dr. Murray and get his full account of the time he spent with the star and the procedures he took to revive him.It has further been reported by a family source it took 50 minutes before an ambulance was called for Jackson, while desperate attempts to resuscitate him were made.Reverend Jesse Jackson said: There is a concern about what happened the last 12 hours of Michael's life. The doctor has showed some bizarre behaviour. Apparently, the doctor was with Michael, maybe administering to his back pain. And then, the next thing that happens is there is a 911 call. He hadn't talked with the family. He didn't sign the death certificate. He didn't talk with the coroner. And then he was missing in action. Dr. Murray reportedly went missing soon after Jackson's death. He was questioned by Los Angeles police investigating Jackson's death yesterday, although their investigation is not criminal. Police also made it clear Dr. Murray was questioned as a witness and is not a suspect. It is believed Jackson was being treated by a number of doctors at the time of his death.

David Gest Has Blamed Michael Jackson's Advisers For His Death
Mon, 29 Jun 2009 18:57:56 | Rate news: +0
The 55-year-old concert promoter - a friend of the late 'Thriller' singer since he was 11 - insists the pressure of preparing for a 50-night run of concerts caused the fatal suspected cardiac arrest that killed Michael on Thursday (26.06.09), singling out his doctor Tohme R. Tohme for particular responsibility.David said: We all have weaknesses and Michael's was that he trusted the wrong people most of the time. He thought people were good, which they are not. Michael was in terrible pain and all he cared about was feeling better. He started taking prescription pills to numb the pain and he also started drinking. It was then that his judgement started to become clouded. Michael told me he was excited about getting back on stage. But I really believe in my heart of hearts that the pressure of those concerts killed Michael. David believes his friend was misled when he agreed to his 'This Is It' residency, which was due to begin at London's O2 arena next month and the stress of such a gruelling schedule was too tough .He added to Britain's The Sun newspaper: Michael thought there was going to be 10 dates as announced. But then all of a sudden Thome, with Randy Phillips, president of organisers AEG, had arranged 20, then 30, then 50 dates. Michael was being told, 'You are going to set the world record for concerts at the O2.' They knew how to feed into his ego. But when Michael realised his schedule he began to panic. They should have realised doing one concert a day, then one day off, would be tough for any performer, let alone someone who hadn't been on stage for nine years, it was ridiculous. Michael was working his a*s off for eight hours a day to prepare, the schedule didn't allow him any time to rest. I know for a fact he was rehearsing until 2am the morning before he died. Meanwhile, singer John Mayer says the 'Billie Jean' star - whose career faltered following a string of child sex abuse allegations - has returned to pristine condition in death. The 'Gravity' hitmaker insists his hero's passing means that fans can fully appreciate his music again without it being tainted by scandal. He said: We don't have to reconcile the Michael Jackson we love with another Michael Jackson In a way, he has returned to pristine condition in death. We can be free now for the rest of our lives to love the Michael Jackson we used to love. John also praised Michael's musical talent, saying his work was to such a high standard it embarrassed other musicians. He added to Time magazine: He was one of the purest substances ever in music. But it's frustrating, and somewhat pointless, to ever try and figure out how Michael Jackson arrived at an album like 'Thriller' and how you could arrive at something like it. It's one of those things you actually don't want to bring up to musicians because they don't want to remember that that kind of greatness is achievable, because it skews the entire bell curve completely.

Cameron Diaz Would Do Anything For Her Loved Ones
Mon, 29 Jun 2009 11:40:15 | Rate news: +0
The actress found it easy to empathise with her 'My Sister's Keeper' character Sara Fitzgerald, whose daughter has terminal cancer, even though she isn't a mother herself. She said: I think we all related to the fact that there isn't anything that you wouldn't give someone that you love that deeply. You do whatever it takes to keep that person alive. I think that that's something that spoke to most of us, for this film, and what I think is so effective in the film. Cameron - whose father Emilio Diaz died after developing pneumonia while she was working on the film - also praised her 13-year-old co-star Abigail Breslin for her brave performance.Abigail plays Sara's other daughter Anna, who was a designer baby born to help keep Kate alive. However, Anna decides she wants the right to make her own medical decisions.Cameron said: What was amazing about working with Abigail was that I realised you see her and you're like, 'Oh, she's just a little girl,' but she's got so much power within her. I went up to her mother and said, 'Your daughter is a warrior.' She can take all these things that are happening around her, that are these very adult, complicated, complex situations and ideas, and she's able to somehow put something behind it with more strength than you see in most people. I was amazed by how strong she is. She's just a powerhouse.

Omg! Mischa Barton Prefers Kissing Girls, Rather Then Boys!
Mon, 29 Jun 2009 11:38:49 | Rate news: +0
The former 'O.C' actress said while she's open to performing kissing scenes, she prefers them to be between her and another girl, because it is less tense than kissing a man. She said: It's so much easier to kiss a girl. You're so much more relaxed filming than you are doing a guy and girl scene. You can relax and have a laugh about it, whereas if it's a man you have to kiss, the whole thing's a bit tense. She added she finds it strange she keeps getting picked for roles that include lesbian scenes. Mischa added: I don't know why that keeps happening to me, but my scripts have a lot of girl-on-girl kissing. But if it's part of my character, that doesn't really annoy me. I did a film about Tatu, the Russian girl band, and that was interesting. This whole corrupt Russian music industry formed this fake lesbian band. It's an odd story but a fascinating one. The British-born star also said while she's happy kissing on camera, she'd never pose fully nude in a magazine. She said: I took my top off for Cosmopolitan magazine, but I'd never do a fully nude shoot - that's just not me. I was shot from the chest up and everyone speaks about it like I was naked. I really wasn't.

He added: The director, Michael Bay, told me: 'Be in shape. I demand a lot from my male actors, especially in these movies.' I tried to be as strong and ready to go as possible. I was so glad on those days when I was running non-stop in the sweltering heat.  The gym doesn't begin to prepare you for that one. US actor Josh also felt a duty to portray his role as realistically as possible in honour of his friends who are currently fighting for their country around the world.  He added: We took a lot of pride in trying to represent the military as closely as we could. I've got a lot of friends in the army and an aunt over in Iraq, so that was my main focus was to try to represent them all and make them proud.

Christian Bale "freaked Out" His Daughter By Keeping His Accent For 'public Enemies' ...
Mon, 29 Jun 2009 11:37:40 | Rate news: +0
The British actor plays US FBI officer Melvin Purvis in the 1930s gangster film and in preparing for his role kept a strong southern US accent throughout filming. The film's director, Michael Bay, said: Melvin Purvis was really a southern gentleman. So Christian kept the accent for 24 hours a day. It freaked out his young daughter. She said: 'Daddy doesn't talk like that!' he replied: 'Well, ah'm sorry, mah dear, but daddy's studying for a part, and ah'll be speaking like this for the next four months.' Michael also revealed that Johnny Depp - who plays the film's leading character, outlaw John Dillinger - was more influenced by wardrobe, and one of the most exciting parts of the production was when they got some clothes which actually belonged to the gangster. Michael added: We got to see some of Dilinger's packed suitcases, which he had left behind after an escape, and Johnny was able to actually hold his shirts in his hands. They still had the pink paper band around them from the Chinese laundry. And there were more accoutrements than you'd have thought for a guy on the run - shaving kit, talcum powder. You bet there's magic to that stuff. I'm not superstitious, but I couldn't help it.

Abigail Breslin Is Like A "70 Year Old" Woman

'My Sister's Keeper' director Nick Cassavetes says he had no problems with casting the 12-year-old actress in his new movie because he was so impressed by her maturity. He said: The auditioning of children is an empty experience because some kids are very well prepared for auditions and aren't particularly good actors, and some are really great actors that have certain problems with auditioning. Casting children, it's harder, not because they can't talk eloquently about their part, it's that they don't have the body of work to support your absolute belief in them. With Abigail, that wasn't the case. I'd seen her work. She's a 70 year old woman in a 12 year old's body. She's so soulful and so gets it. I find myself trying to catch up to her intellectually, as opposed to dragging her along. There's something very, very special and still and knowing and nurturing about Abigail Breslin So, when she said she wanted to play the part, I was like, 'Okay, we've got her. Good. That's my girl.'

Daniel Radcliffe Doesn't Act When Playing Harry Potter

The 19-year-old British actor says his abilities were undeveloped when he first took on the role of the boy wizard in 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone' and he felt fans wouldn't like it if he changed his approach in later movies. He said: When I started out at the age of 10 or 11 I was essentially saying the lines as I myself would say them. When I became aware that that's what I was doing, at 13 or 14, it didn't make sense to change, because it would suddenly be a dramatic shift in the character. Daniel admits he is very much like his famous character - created in the best-selling children's book series by J. K. Rowling - and even his mother has noticed the similarities. He added to Parade magazine: When she read the sixth book she noticed that Harry argues in the kind of irritating, pedantic way that I argue. She thought Harry and I were getting closer and closer together at that point.
