Socialite Paris Hilton and the soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo - who spent hours snogging in a Los Angeles nightclub last Wednesday - have promised to remain faithful to each other while Paris is in Dubai filming a new TV show and he is in America.

A source told Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "He is really taken by Paris. It could be something big. Paris has to go to Dubai with work, and that will test how serious they are about each other.
