Queen Latifah opens up in a new tell-all interview regarding her sexual abuse as a child. Latifah said she was abused by a teenage boy who was put in charge of her. "He violated me," she tells Essence magazine. "I never told anybody; I just buried it as deeply as I could and kept people at an arm's distance. I never really let a person get too close to me. I could have been married years ago, but I had a commitment issue." Latifah says she didn't tell anyone till the death of her brother when she was 22 years old. "I had to get it off my chest. My mother felt terrible. She was kind of a country girl, so she wasn't up on how slick people could be. When I told my dad, he said nothing," she tells the publication. The Cover Girl says for many years she blamed herself for the sexual abuse she endured but after speaking with her therapist she came to terms with it. "I was a kid, and I had no power or control over the situation. I really wish I'd had the strength and the knowledge to say something sooner, because I always wondered, Did he do that to someone else? But I accept that the time for action has come and gone." He continued, "Why did the love of my life and I break up? ... Man, I have no idea. What was that all about? I have no answers to anything. None. Why am I an alcoholic? I haven’t a damn clue! "I got involved in something I should have had no part of," Alba tells us. "I realize that I should have used better judgment and I regret not thinking things through before I made a spontaneous and ill-advised decision to let myself get involved with the people behind this campaign. I sincerely apologize to the citizens of Oklahoma City and to the United Way for my involvement in this incident." The Oklahoma City Police Department tells "The Insider" that the unnamed individuals pasted the shark posters on electrical boxes, one on a bridge, and one on a billboard in the downtown area. A new police report will be issued tomorrow morning.

Johnny Depp found himself learning all about his stepfather's criminal past while filming in a prison for new movie "Public Enemies" - after officials discovered his old man had served time at the correctional facility.

Robert Palmer, who died in 2000, spent years behind bars on various charges during his youth, and Depp, who plays notorious bank robber John Dillinger in the film, was surprised to hear his stepdad had been locked up in Stateville Correctional Center, near Joliet, Illinois - the very prison chosen as a location for the film.

He tells Vanity Fair magazine, "He'd done some burglaries, robbery - you know, that kind of thing. He was in Midwest prisons from his youth up until (when) he was a full-grown man. So I got to learn a bit more about my stepdad and his college years, as it were."

Depp has admitted his preparation for the role was inspired by another family law breaker - his grandfather.

He explains, "This movie was a salute to my grandfather. He bootlegged moonshine during the Depression, so because of him the character of Dillinger was pretty easy for me to connect to."
