Halle Berry To Star In "the Surrogate" Thriller

Actress Halle Berry is in negotiations for a starring role in the thriller The Surrogate (not Bruce Willis' The Surrogates) for 20th Century Fox.According to Variety, director Paul Verhoeven is developing the project which is based on the 2004 novel by Kathryn Mackel. The story revolves around a couple desperate to have a child and who discover that the surrogate they've hired to carry their baby is insane.
