Molly Ringwald teen star of such film classics as Pretty in Pink, The Breakfast Club, and Sixteen Candles has announced that she is expecting twins in August. Ringwald plays the mother of a pregnant teenager on The Secret Life of the American Teenager.

It will be the second daughter and first son for Ringwald and her husband Panio Gianopoulos. The couple have a 5-year-old daughter. Shailene Woodley who plays Ringwald's daughter on the show says her pregnancy came as exciting news on the set.
