"The Insider"'s own Samantha Harris talks to "Dancing With The Stars" pros and newly engaged couple, Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Karina Smirnoff "The Insider" is first to show you the stunning engagement ring, and bring you the details about the New Year's Eve proposal!   Maksim shares how he decided to pop the question to Karina after a month and a half of dating! He tells "The Insider" that after secretly asking Karina's mother and friends for their input on the ring design, he decided to pick a design he liked -- and Karina ended up loving it just as much. "I love it -- it's gorgeous," Karina gushes about her 3-carat Harry Winston engagement ring. "I never expected it. It was surprising, and we're very, very happy." The couple tells Samantha they are great friends who know everything about one another. Maksim also admits to having a crush on Karina in the past, and he even talks about his first impression of her! As for the proposal, Karina says, "I think it was the most perfect proposal ever, and yet it was completely a disaster."
