Stevie Wonder Honored In Washington

Music legend Stevie Wonder is performing in Washington and receiving a distinguished award from President Obama at the White House! Read on for the details… Wonder is receiving the Gershwin Prize for Popular Song from the Library of Congress, to be awarded by Mr. Obama later this week in a White House ceremony, reports the Associated Press. Tonight, Wonder performs a newly composed song -- commissioned by the Library of Congress -- for the first time with a full orchestra at the library. The 58-year-old musician and singer, who first wowed national TV audiences on shows like "American Bandstand" when he was just 12, is the second person to receive the Gershwin Prize after Paul Simon in 2007.
