Kate Winslet children can't wait to play with her Oscar. "The Reader" star - who was named Best Actress at the Academy Awards on Sunday - has revealed her children are desperate for her to bring home the prestigious award so they can pretend they have won a prize.

Kate - who is married to "American Beauty" director Sam Mendes - said: "My kids are waiting for me to bring home an Oscar. It's great because with my husband's Oscar we now have a pair. They love playing with my awards and this means they get to hold one each. I might just try and hang on to it for a while myself though."
