Actress Reese Witherspoon is one skeptic who is questioning whether Joaquin Phoenix decision to leave acting to pursue a career as a hobo mess rapper is an elaborate hoax.

Reese, who worked with Joaquin in the Johnny Cash bioflick "Walk the Line" and has known him for a long time, thinks the actor's recent antics of walking around as a sloven, mumbling, smelly, raggedy, lice-infested, stinky-breath hip hop "artist" must be a put-on.
