Tom Cruise has had a run of bad luck with his film career lately despite stretching himself as an actor by making a daring Nazi hero flick "Valkyrie" and playing a fat guy in the comedy "Tropic Thunder." But it's been announced that the Cruiser has scored a nice gig: co-starring with box office megastar Denzel Washington in a new Bourne-like action flick.

He'll be joining Denzel in "The Matarese Circle," director David Cronenberg's adaptation of the Robert Ludlum spy vs spy thriller.
