Sen. Ted Kennedy was laid to rest in Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, VA, on Saturday evening following his funeral service earlier that morning in Boston. Kennedy's final resting place is next to where his brothers President John F. Kennedy and Senator Robert F. Kennedy are buried. Colleagues and admirers lined the steps of the U.S. Capitol and memorialized Kennedy when his motorcade made a stop there en route to Arlington National Cemetery, known as the last resting place for heroes and notables of United States history.
