The "Jon & Kate Plus 8" children were photographed playing outside their Reading, Pennsylvania home, but neither Jon Gosselin nor his wife Kate were present. The kids were being supervised by a young nanny. The Gosselin girls and boys rode their bikes and scooters around the yard, some of them carrying backpacks and toys. Kate was on the "Today" show Monday morning, where she explained why she's still wearing her wedding ring after announcing that she is separated from her husband. "I don't want to upset [the kids]," she told "Today" show host Meredith Vieira "I just feel that is the best thing for them, to walk slowly through it."
