Hillary Clinton: Ling & Lee 'extremely Excited' To Come Home

U.S. Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, spoke out Wednesday in Nairobi about Laura Ling and Euna Lee, the journalists that were released from North Korea, and their U.S. homecoming with former President Bill Clinton. According to the Associated Press, Hillary Clinton told reporters in Nairobi that the two women are "extremely excited" to be on their way home. She also added that she is "very happy and relieved" that the journalists are on their way back to the United States. A representative for Bill Clinton released the following statement to "The Insider" Tuesday afternoon: "President Clinton has safely left North Korea with Laura Ling and Euna Lee. They are en route to Los Angeles where Laura and Euna will be reunited with their families." "Everything went well," Hillary Clinton said on Wednesday about her husband's successful negotiations in North Korea. "They were extremely excited to be reunited soon when they touch down in California. It was just a good day to be able to see this happen." Ling and Lee were on a news assignment for former Vice President Al Gore media company Current TV when they were arrested. Ling and Lee were pardoned and released on Tuesday, after Bill Clinton negotiated for their release.
