While the entire world has been stunned at the sting operation carried by British news paper News of the World about the sale of Rubina, child star of 8-Oscar winning Danny Boyle film Slumdog Millionaire, for a paltry Rs 1.50 Crore by her father Rafique Qureshi, the child's mother Khushi lodged a complaint with the Mumbai police. Qureshi was summoned by the police and questioned and he denied that he had anything to do with what appeared in the media about selling Rubina away. Interestingly, Rubina, aged 9 years, told the police that she would like to stay with her father only.
