Legendary scientist and author PROFESSOR Stephen Hawking is "very ill" in hospital near his home in Cambridge, England.The 67-year-old author of A Brief History of Time was taken to the city’s Addenbrooke’s Hospital by ambulance on Monday (20Apr09), according to a spokesperson at Cambridge University, where he teaches.The spokesperson says, "Professor Hawking is very ill."
