Jessica Simpson has dismissed reports she’s approached BRITNEY SPEARS to join her in a new TV sitcom.The Dukes of Hazzard star wanted Spears to team up with her for a comedy comparable to beloved funny series Laverne & Shirley, according to U.S. tabloid the Globe.But Simpson’s father/manager Joe has taken to social networking website Twitter.com
