SYSTEM OF A DOWN rocker JOHN DOLMAYAN has auditioned to become SMASHING PUMPKINS’ new drummer.Frontman Billy Corgan is rebuilding the band after the departure of percussionist Jimmy Chamberlin earlier this year (09).And he’s considering hiring Dolmayan to take his place.He reveals in a statement, "In total, 12 drummers were auditioned on Tuesday.
