Drew Barrymore Jessica Lange and Jeanne Tripplehorn premiered their new HBO film 'Grey Gardens' to a cosmopolitan crowd in Manhattan Tuesday night -- and "The Insider" was there! In an Alberta Ferretti ensemble "inspired by Jean Harlow and Clara Bow and Carole Lombard," Drew came with beau Justin Long and said her role changed her in that she didn't know she "had the discipline to cut myself off from the world for three months to understand what someone so isolated really feels like. .. I pretty much went straight off the deep end and it took me awhile to pull myself back, but I'm just glad I committed myself to such a degree." Drew also registered her excitement for President Obama's new pooch, Bo, saying, "All right!!! I couldn't love him more, so God, this is just another thing to make us love this man. He's an angel. Thank God for Obama. The guy's the coolest." Jessica, who arrived with her daughter, talked about her recent tumble which sent her to the hospital, saying, "I fell off of my porch at my cabin and I fell a long way and I broke a lot of bones. It's been a month now, so the healing has started, but it's difficult." Asked how she could get along on the red carpet, she joked, "I'm barely moving, but I am stumbling along." Debuting this Saturday on HBO, 'Grey Gardens' is the riches-to-rags story of two charming eccentrics who were relatives of Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy Onassis (played by Tripplehorn). Based on the groundbreaking 1975 documentary, 'Grey Gardens' follows reclusive mother and daughter "Big Edie" Bouvier Beale (Lange) and "Little Edie" Bouvier Beale (Barrymore) and their everyday existence living in squalor and isolation in a decaying, 28-room East Hampton mansion. Jeanne also talked about her role as Jackie O in the movie, saying, "It was a little daunting at first, but then the research was absolutely irresistible. That era was so fascinating on so many levels, historically, with fashion, dramatically what was going on in everybody's lives… I really enjoy family history, and this one was chock full of histories."
