"The Insider" confirms that the nail-biting FOX drama "24" is heading to the Big Apple next season. The onscreen switch to New York will not change the fact that most of the series will still be shot in Los Angeles, a rep for FOX said. In addition to the location shift, the CTU anti-terror unit featured in the show will be lead by a new, yet-to-be-cast male character named Brian Hastings, according to FOX. Kiefer Sutherland portrays special agent Jack Bauer on the show, which each season takes viewers on an action-packed ride during episodes spanning a consecutive 24-hour period. The series is set to start shooting its eighth season next month.

'Transformers' star Shia LaBeouf is opening up about the hand injury he sustained as a result of a car accident last July in West Hollywood. And he reveals what costar Harrison Ford said to him following his first surgical procedure! In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, LeBeouf says his hand may never heal entirely. The 22-year-old says he only expects to get "about 80-something percent" of his left hand's pre-accident abilities. LaBeouf plans to have his third surgery soon, saying, "My middle finger is still crooked as a f---ing noodle, so they've gotta straighten it out and put a screw in it." The star tells EW he will be able to make a fist again with his left hand, but adds, "There's a knuckle I'll never be able to move again, but that's probably the only permanent damage, other than the scarring." He says the first voice he heard after his initial surgery was that of Harrison Ford, his 'Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull' costar. "Harrison [Ford] called me on the phone and said, 'Hey, are you okay?' I said, 'Yeah, I'm good.' He said, 'Well, then you need to get back to work.' I said, 'Are you serious?' He said, 'That's the way this cookie crumbles.' So I went back to work. The show doesn't stop for anybody." LaBeouf's injuries didn't stop there. He also tells EW about injuries he sustained on the set of the highly anticipated sequel, 'Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.' "This movie was the most physical thing I've ever had to do, and I had to do it with a broken hand," LaBeouf says. "It's the hardest thing I've ever had to do in my life…Aside from my hand, I also got 25 stitches making this movie, in various parts of my body -- stuff that had nothing to do with my hand." 'Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen' hits theaters on June 24.

"The Insider" has confirmed that an intended auction of approximately 2,000 personal items from Michael Jackson Neverland Ranch has been called off following a settlement. According to the Associated Press, the pop star's production company, MJJ Productions, sued Julien's Auction House last month seeking to halt the April 22 sale, claiming that Jackson hadn't authorized it. The auction, which reportedly cost $2 million to organize, was expected to fetch upwards of $12 million. Memorabilia to be auctioned off included his signature gloves, performance costumes, a touring coach, awards, furniture, arcade games, Disneyana, fine art, statuettes, paintings and life-size bronze and marble sculptures. Julien's has had the collection of items on exhibition for next week's intended sale, and a joint statement from Jackson spokesman Dr. Tohme R. Tohme and auction organizer Darren Julien says, "There was so much interest from so many of Jackson's fans that instead of putting the items in the hands of private collectors, Dr. Tohme and Julien's Auction House have made arrangements that will allow the collection to be shared with and enjoyed by Jackson's fans for many years to come." The statement added that MJJ Productions and Julien's Auction House will make a "substantial" donation to MusiCares to benefit artists in need.

"Private Practice" star Kate Walsh filed amended divorce papers on Monday in response to the divorce petition filed last December by her estranged husband Alex Young. "The Insider" has the details. In the court papers obtained by "The Insider," Walsh declares the couple's date of separation to be November 17, 2008. The actress is also asking to terminate the court's ability to award spousal support to Young. As for the reason for their split, Walsh lists "irreconcilable differences" as the cause. Young filed for divorce late last year, and a rep for the pair told "The Insider," "Papers have been filed to amicably end the marriage of executive Alex Young and actress Kate Walsh The couple remain on friendly terms and sincerely hope the media will respect their privacy during this difficult time." In the divorce papers filed by Young, the date of separation is listed as November 22, 2008 -- five days later than the date Walsh listed in her response. Walsh and Young wed in September of 2007.
