After a 15-year run on television NBC aired the final episode of "ER" on Thursday night. Current cast members reunited with some former "ER" stars including Alex Kingston, Eriq La Salle, Noah Wyle, Laure Innes, and Sherry Stringfield. The two hour finale was an emotional one as an old man watched as the woman he had loved since grade school passed away, and a mother died after giving birth two twin girls. The final episode left a glimmer of hope for the hospital's legacy and the fans of "ER" as Rachel the daughter of Anthony Edwards character, Dr. Mark Greene, decides to follow in her father's footsteps in the medical field. The acclaimed medical drama received 122 Emmy nominations during it's 15-year run between 1994 and 2009.
