Matt Damon was not afraid to get his hands dirty and even got stuck in the mud during a trip to the Caribbean nation of Haiti, where he helped distribute food in a town devastated by Hurricane Ike, the Associated Press reports. Damon arrived this weekend with Haitian-born singer Wyclef Jean to hand out rice, beans and cooking oil in Cabaret, a town where 60 people died in flash floods when Ike hit the area last week. Things got rough for the stars when their truck carrying 300 bags of food ran into a ditch, forcing the rest of the caravan to stop. But they kept their cool as they continued their mission in the disaster region, the AP said. The celebrities later walked to a nearby church where about 600 people were sheltered, kneeling down to talk to an emaciated, elderly man lying on the muddy floor before serving food.  Damon and Jean encouraged more people to help the United Nations raise more than $100 million for an estimated 800,000 Haitians in need of aid after four devastating tropical storms and hurricanes since mid-August.

Tina Fey returned to "Saturday Night Live" last night to portray John McCain's VP candidate Sarah Palin in a skit that also featured Fey's former "Weekend Update" co-host Amy Poehler playing Hillary Clinton. The "SNL" alum and 'Baby Mama' star bears a remarkable resemblance to Palin and writers seized upon this fact for the sketch. A frustrated Clinton (Poehler) eventually broke down and complained about Palin's ease of success and her "Tina Fey glasses." When Poehler said she disagreed with the Bush Doctrine, Fey, as Palin, admitted, "I don't know what that means" - a reference to Palin's apparent confusion on the subject in her first major interview earlier this week during an interview on ABC. The season premiere of "SNL," hosted by Olympic swimming champ Michael Phelps, was expected to include an appearance by Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama. But the Senator canceled his cameo early Saturday due to the devastation caused by Hurricane Ike.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt Jolie-Pitt Foundation has made a $2 million donation to the Global Health Committee to open a clinic in Ethiopia for treating children affected by tuberculosis and HIV/AIDS, People magazine reports. The center is to be modeled after a similar facility run by the celebrity couple's foundation in Cambodia, where children receive medical, education and social services. "Our goal is to transfer the success we have had in Cambodia to Ethiopia where people are needlessly dying of tuberculosis, a curable disease, and HIV/AIDS, a treatable disease," Jolie said in a statement to People.  Tuberculosis kills about 2 million each year and is the largest cause of death worldwide for children and adults with AIDS.

Kathy Griffin has picked up her second Emmy at the Creative Arts Primetime Emmys for her hit Bravo show "My Life On the D-List."   The actress/comedian was handed the trophy for best reality program during the ceremony Saturday night in Los Angeles. Valerie Bertinelli, Tom Hanks, Jennifer Beals, Bryan Cranston, Jon Cryer, Joe Mantegna, Masi Oka, Lee Pace and Sarah Silverman were just a few of the stars who joined this year's hosts - "How I Met Your Mother"'s Neil Patrick Harris and "Scrubs" star Sarah Chalke - to honor the oh-so-important behind-the-scenes TV makers.

Daniel Dae Kim, who plays Jin on "Lost," has pleaded no contest to DUI charges stemming from his arrest last October. The Associated Press says he's been ordered to pay a $500 fine. "You need to understand that 0.168 is more that double the legal limit. It means you were seriously impaired," a judge told Kim in court Thursday, says the AP. "And it just cannot happen again. It's simply too dangerous." "Believe me, sir, I do [understand]," Kim replied. The actor was arrested last October for allegedly driving erratically. He was booked at the Honolulu Police station and released shortly after posting bail. His license was revoked for six months, says the AP, adding that he underwent "a drug-and-alcohol assessment," was ordered to pay $212 in court fees and perform 72 hours of community service. Kim is the third "Lost" star to be arrested for suspicion of DUI. Former cast-mates Michelle Rodriguez and Cynthia Watros were also arrested for DUI during their time on the show.

Shannen Doherty has wrapped shooting the four episodes of "90210" that she signed up for -- but it's possible she might extend her stay in the world's most famous zip code yet. "If the CW comes back with an offer for additional episodes, she's happy to consider it," Doherty's spokesman told the Associated Press. "90210" reps issued a statement Friday saying they’d “love for her to do more” episodes reprising her famous character Brenda Walsh, and there’s “definitely” a chance that she might. It was previously reported that fellow "Beverly Hills, 90210" original Jennie Garth signed up for an additional six episodes after finishing her first five.
