"Gossip Girl" star Taylor Momsen has received treatment for a "severe, potentially life-threatening throat infection."The 15-year-old actress - who plays rebellious teenager Jenny Humphrey on the hit U.S. TV show - is now on "aggressive antibiotics" for the illness after being released from hospital Wednesday, according to her doctor Shawn Nasseri.
