REBA McENTIRE, Lyle Lovett and ALAN JACKSON were among the top honourees at the 2008 ASCAP Country Music Awards on Monday night (13Oct08) The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) bestowed its Silver Circle honour on McEntire and Lovett, while McEntire was also presented with the Golden Note Award for her "extraordinary career
