Marlon Brando alleged love child has come forward. The late Oscar-winning actor, who died from respiratory failure aged 80 in 2004, is said to have had an affair with a Polynesian woman which led to the birth of pop singer Rachel Anjel Brando.

Rachel Anjel claims she was sent to boarding school from the age of three to ensure her father's identity remained a secret. She was quoted on the Marlon Brando Association website as saying: "I understand my father wanted me far from the U.S. for fear of someone finding out he had a child out of wedlock."
