The CW's new "Beverly Hills 90210" spinoff is getting an education with the help of Ryan Eggold. The "Dirt" star will play the hot new teacher at West Beverly High who is "kind of a kid himself," he tells TV Guide.com, adding that it's a character trait that could get him in trouble with a student! "There is some tension between a student and myself," he says. "I'm not sure where they're going to go with it," he says. "I do have a love interest, I can't say yet [who]." Inspired in part by Ryan Gosling in 'Half Nelson,' the WBH teacher is "definitely his own man and kind of a lone wolf in a sense. He butts heads with the principal [played by Rob Estes]. He's kind of a loose cannon, and does whatever he feels." As for the show itself, Mr. Eggold says "It's really hot, it's really sharp and bright and intense...visually, it's just great." The new "90210" premieres on The CW this fall.
