Soon-to-be father Clay Aiken recently spent time in Kenya and Somalia in a bid to improve education for children in those violence-torn nations, the pop star writes in an Internet blog. One trip took place in early July, when Aiken visited Eldoret, in Kenya’s Rift Valley, where some of the worst violence took place following the country's elections in early 2008, leaving thousands of children homeless. "Everywhere we went, there were the charcoaled remains of homes, schools and shops.
