New Interview: Peter Cook's Biggest Regret
Christie Brinkley's ex-husband Peter Cook has spoken. In an interview with Fox News, Cook says his biggest regret is that he did not make a "better decision" three years ago when he had an affair with the then 18-year-old Diana Bianchi. Cook said that if he could go back and do it over again he would have said, "No, I'm a married man." Brinkley and Cook's divorce trial ended Thursday, with Brinkley winning sole custody of the couple's two children, Jack and Sailor. The days leading to the court decision involved many private matters being made public. Cook expressed the fact that he was resentful when asked how he felt about everything being "dragged through the public mud." "Christie has been waving a victory sign as though she just a won a war and I just don't see how there's a victory for anyone at the end of a fourth marriage and what these children were exposed to unnecessarily, I don't see the victory in it." The architect says that he does not regret the ten years that he was married to the supermodel. As for his current relationship with Brinkley, Cook reveals that it is "very strained" but he believes that eventually it will heal.[Read full story on The Insider]
