"They realized they wanted different things," the friend said. "In the long run, the relationship wasn't going to work." The friend adds that Goodwin -- who stars in HBO's polygamist drama "Big Love" -- plans to enjoy the single life for the time being: "She's not interested in dating anyone just yet." "The Insider" obtains documents showing that "Charmed" actress Alyssa Milano seeks a temporary restraining order against a man who she says tried to break into her home. In a declaration filed with the court, Milano says the Northern California man has engaged in "increasingly harassing, stalking and threatening conduct." The actress said the man repeatedly showed up uninvited to her residence, bypassed security measures in an attempt to gain entry into her home and even hiked "miles through the hills to reach my property." A hearing has been set for January 21 when the court will decide whether to issue the requested restraining order, which also seeks protection for Milano's parents and brother. Actor Vinnie Jones whose film credits include 'X-Men: The Last Stand' and 'Snatch,' was arrested Thursday after a bar fight in Sioux Falls, S.D., police tell the Associated Press. Police tell the AP that Jones, 43, got into a fight at a downtown bar, allegedly charging at fellow patron Jesse Bickett, who smashed a beer glass across the actor’s face. According to Juan Barrera, one of Bickett’s roommates, the ruckus began when either he or Bickett reportedly irritated Jones by asking him if he was "that guy from X-Men,” and Jones allegedly responded by punching Barrera, who then supposedly struck back. Bickett was arrested for aggravated assault, says the AP. Police say Jones received treatment at a hospital before being charged with simple assault. He posted bail Friday morning, says the news organization.

Relatives of the two victims O.J. Simpson was found not guilty of murdering back in 1995 are speaking out about Simpson being sentenced to up to 33 years in jail in the Las Vegas armed robbery case. "There's relief in that every time we turn around he won't be rearing his ugly face," Fred Goldman, father of murder victim Ron Goldman, told the New York Daily News. "We know if we want him, we know where to find him." "It was always like salt in a wound, seeing him roaming around, doing his thing," added Goldman, who successfully sued Simpson in a 1997 wrongful-death civil suit. Denise Brown, sister of Simpson's slain wife Nicole Brown Simpson, reflected on the former NFL and movie star's downfall: "It is very sad to think that an individual who had it all, an amazing career, beautiful wife and two precious children has ended up like this," she told Reuters. With parole factored into his sentence, Simpson, 61, could be incarcerated for at least nine years.
