Gael Garcia Bernal is to become a father for the first time. The "Babel" actor has revealed his girlfriend, Argentinean actress Dolores Fonzi, is pregnant with the couple's first child.

Gael's production company, Canana Films, said in a statement: "This is to say that, after so much speculation and , the actors are indeed expecting a baby at the start of next year."
