Britney Spears' father and co-conservator Jamie Spears is speaking out to OK! magazine about life with his daughter, sharing his candid thoughts about her ex Kevin Federline and revealing the direction he thinks the conservatorship will take over the coming months.   "We've grown a lot," Jamie says of his relationship with Britney. "I've been able to come back into my daughter's life, and that was an adjustment anyway, because I'm an alcoholic and it's the first time we've really been able to share." Jamie says he no longer has to live with Britney at her Studio City home, as he did when the conservatorship was first established: "Every now and then, I'll stay if we have something early in the morning we have to do,” he says. "I would hope that [the conservatorship] stands until the end of the year, and then we'll sit back and evaluate where we are at the time, where Britney is at that time," he tells OK!. And Jamie reveals that Britney’s long custody battle with Kevin Federline was resolved once Britney got the desired amount of time with her little boys, Sean and Jayden. "It made no sense for that trial to proceed so we worked out an agreement," Jamie tells the mag. "The agreement says that on Oct. 1 we'll probably get another overnight, and that will stay in place until the end of the year or the end of the conservatorship." And he adds of K-Fed: "Kevin has a wonderful heart. I don't agree with giving him more money. ... He wants them to raise these kids together. Kevin's heart is right." Overall, Jamie says his involvement in Britney’s life is "wonderful. It's new for both of us … She sometimes calls me 50 times a day and asks me things that light my life up. But, like all daughters, she is very manipulative and cunning. So, she gets what she wants a lot."

A Crown Prosecution Service spokesman tells "The Insider": "We can today confirm that we have advised the Metropolitan Police Service that the actor Christian Bale should not face any charges following an incident which occurred in relation to his mother and sister at the Dorchester hotel on 21 July this year." Bale's spokesperson Jennifer Allen says the 'Dark Knight' actor is "relieved" the issue has been resolved and now hopes "to put the matter firmly behind him." "Mr. Bale considers this to be a deeply personal matter and would ask that the media respect both his and his family's privacy," Allen said. Concerning the decision, the spokesman for the Crown Prosecution Service said: "Whilst the CPS treats all incidents which take place in a domestic context seriously, it is important that the views of complainants are also taken into account when making decisions in such cases. "Taking all the factors into consideration, the decision has been taken that there is insufficient evidence to afford a realistic prospect of conviction, and accordingly the police have been advised that no further action should be taken against Mr. Bale."
