Beyoncé Knowles and Jay-Z finally tied the knot on Friday, according to a report by People.com. "It happened earlier this evening," a friend of the couple said on Friday night. "Jay wanted it to be a really private affair - close friends and family."

The ceremony reportedly was held at Jay-Z's Manhattan apartment where guests included Destiny's Child members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, and Gwyneth Paltrow.

Actress Jasmine Guy best known as Whitley Gilbert on "A Different World," has filed for divorce from her husband. According to court documents in Los Angeles, Guy filed for divorce from husband Terrence Duckett.

The star cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split from her husband of nearly 10 years. Both Guy and Duckett are 46.
It's a modern world for Carrie Underwood and Chace Crawford. When the two recently split, they did it text style.

Underwood, the former "American Idol" winner, told Extra at the taping of "Idol Gives Back" that it was completely mutual. "We broke up over text so... it's like 'peace out.'" Underwood said it wasn't a tearful confrontation but rather a realization that the romance wasn't working. Underwood is busy with her music and Crawford is busying on the show "Gossip Girl." Although the couple hasn't spoken since the texting occurred, Underwood said she has nothing negative to say about her ex. "I don't like him, so it's no big deal."
