France’s biggest rock star BERTRAND CANTAT is to be released from jail after serving half of his eight-year sentence for manslaughter.The Noir Desir singer was convicted of the manslaughter of French actress Marie Trintignant in July 2003 in Lithuania, but served his sentence in his native France.Cantat is due to be released on Tuesday (16Oct07)
