A Philadelphia author is suing rapper Shawn 'Jay-Z' Carter and his former business partner Damon Dash for $15 million, claiming they stole the concept for their movie State Property from his book. In the lawsuit, filed in New York's Manhattan Federal Court earlier this month, Antonne Jones accuses the duo of using his novel The Family: A Philadelphia Story as the basis for the 2002 film without his permission. starpulse.com | Read Source Article »
