Salman Rushdie's real life romance is over. The author and his wife of three years, Padma Lakshmi have split up and filed for divorce. The couple, who are separated by a 24-year age gap, each released a statement confirming the breakdown of their marriage. However, according to Salman, it was his wife who wanted the divorce.
