British actor Patrick Stewart was so desperate to perfect his pronunciation when he took to the stage he dedicated much of his youth learning "how to speak".The X-MEN star admits he fought hard to lose his Yorkshire, North East England, accent, and spent entire weekends intensively training himself to speak in more eloquent tones.He says,
