Oscar-nominated costume designer DONFELD died on Saturday (03FEB07) at the Temple City, California home of his brother after a brief illness. He was 72.Donfeld, born DONALD LEE FELD, received his first Academy Award nomination for DAYS OF WINE AND ROSES, starring Jack Lemmon and LEE REMICK.
