Director Christopher Guest is refusing to take any part in the upcoming awards season, because he fears industry accolades "change people". The 58-year-old examines the hype and hysteria of the Oscars race in new comedy For Your Consideration, but he shuns the red carpet in reality for fear it will change his career outlook for the worse.
