Katie Holmes is reportedly following her Victoria Beckham's footsteps as she's planning to launch her own clothing line. Katie will be working with Armani to introduce her new designs by the end of the year according to OK! magazine. A source said:

"The Katie Holmes for Armani collection will be comparable in price to the Armani ready-to-wear line. It will be sold in stores like Saks, Barneys New York and Neiman Marcus. We're talking very upscale: less expensive than Armani Privé but more than Armani Exchange. These are going to be very high-quality clothes. We're not talking cheesy Jessica Simpson stuff."

Isn't it sickening how celebrities all think they're all of a sudden fashion designers or want their name on every possible thing?  Perhaps this is the only way she can find a way to get away from hubby Tom Cruise for a little while though. If that's the case, well, then it's understandable.
