Toni Braxton cancelled her Las Vegas show after being hospitalized overnight with chest pains. According to the spokeswoman for the Flamingo Hotel, Deanna Pettit, where the singer has been performing, Braxton was expected to be released after precautionary tests. The cause of the 40-year-olds chest pain was not immediately known however Pettit said Braxton, has been treated in the past for pericarditis, a viral inflammation of the heart. The six-time Grammy winner for songs including 'Don't break My Heart' and 'Breathe Again' began a two-year run at the Flamingo in August 2006. The Flamingo president, Don Marrandino said: "We wish Toni a quick recovery and would like her to take the time she needs to regain optimal health". He added: "We are looking forward to her return at the end of the week."
