A Virgin Atlantic Boeing 747 plane was named “Spice One” in honour of the 90’s hit band The Spice Girls, at Los Angeles International Airport. Over 33,000 fans worldwide helped Emma, Geri, Mel B, Melanie C and Victoria choose the name from a shortlist of three. With 56% of the votes “Spice One” won the vote beating both “Girl Power” and “Spice Girl”. “It's fantastic to have a plane named in our honour.  We wish everyone who travels onboard Spice One a great flight,” said The Spice Girls from the LA Airport.
