Skye Sweetnam has a precocious, infectious energy, coupled with a talent that's strong beyond her years. But, for all her maturity, she still has a spontaneous and irrepressible sense of mischief. Skye toured with Britney Spears before even turning 16; now she's gaining fame in her own right. Her recent debut album, Noise from the Basement, featured such hit singles as "Billy S." and "Tangled Up In Me."
Attended Allan Drive Middle School in Bolton, Ontario. Was named after the Scottish Isle of Skye. Her TV debut was on the Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn - Friday 20 June 2003. She is the opening act for Britney Spears. Grew up listening to Enya, the Cranberries, Genesis, Weezer and many songs from musicals such as Cats and Les Misérables. Loves everything from Coldplay to Outkast, horror film scores to The Distillers, Led Zeppelin to No Doubt, and Pantera to Mozart Made all the animations and graphics for her official site.
