FOX has picked up 13 episodes of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (T:SCC) for the 2008-2009 season.


So...we were served up a double-size helping of metal and mayhem in what could be the final installment of "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles." This show costs a lot of ducats to produce, and the ratings were not where they needed to be after the success of the pilot. Is this the last we'll see of our merry band of defenders against Judgment Day?


This was the last episode of "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" before the season finale, and because of that the development of poor Special Agent Ellison was put into overdrive. Sure, there were other happenings - the return of the Emo John Connor and continued posturing by BAG, who wouldn't stop bleeding.


This week on "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" Sarah (Lena Headey) tells us about chess and how it's just like war. Sarah Connor, who is hunted by Terminators and begot the messiah of the human race, is trying to tell us that chess better prepared John (Thomas Dekker) for war, than something like...marksmanship or building bombs.


After a week off from all the nonsense in "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" we find ourselves quickly reintroduced to our favorite terminator in progress, Cromartie. You might remember that in the last episode our metal friend took a bloodbath to replace his skin and also stole some yummy eyes.

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (FOX, 9 p.m.) - John and Cameron try to fit in at high school. Hopefully, there's no robotic substitute teacher this time.


The premiere episode of "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" scored the highest opening-night rating of any new show in three years. Over 18 million people tuned in to the show's debut, according to the Nielsen rating service. Here are five reasons we're watching the show:


In the second episode of "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles," Sarah (in a voice over) talks about how tough things are for her and John while we witness a roadside worker picking up litter. But there's more than the run-of-the-mill Hollywood trash there. In between all the syringes and beer bottles is a genuine Terminator head.


What would a Terminator eat in place of popcorn or chips if he or she was sitting down for a brand new TV show? Oil? Screws? Anti-freeze? Anyway, "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" opens with what is obviously a nightmare sequence.


Ah, Terminator. The movie that launched the Governator into super stardom. Before "Terminator," Arnold Schwarzenegger was just a weightlifting sensation and the star of "Pumping Iron." Afterward he became one of the most marketable action stars in Hollywood.

Without Arnold will Fox's Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles still be able to capture peoples' interest? Starpulse spoke to the show's star, Lena Headey, who you may recognize as Queen Gorgo from 300, about what fans should expect and how she prepared for her role.


Lena Headey ("300") will take on the kick-ass lead role of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.
